Recovered Human Remains report 
As of September 31, 2022
The number of migrant deaths reported by the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner in September 2022 was 13.
Recently found individuals grouped by PMI (Post Mortem Interval):
  3 dead less than 1 week
  1 dead less than 3 weeks
  3 dead less than 5 weeks
  1 dead less than 3 months
  5 dead more than 6-8 months
Total: 13

Updates for previous cases:
        5 individuals newly identified by name (1487 cases remain unidentified).

​There was also an update from Maricopa County with two new cases from earlier in the year and one from 2018. The update also included a review of some previous cases. 17 of those were determined not to be undocumented border crossers. They have been removed from our database.
